The name “Kainchi Dham” is derived from the two sharp hairpin bends (kainchis) in the motorable road leading to the ashram.
The main attraction of Kainchi Dham is the Hanuman temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Devotees and visitors come to seek spiritual solace, offer prayers, and participate in the ashram’s activities. By Air: The nearest airport to KAinchi Dham is Pantnagar Airport, 70 km away and local car and buses are available to reach the ashram from the airport. By Rail, the nearest major railway station is Kathgodam, which is about 38 km from here. From Kathgodam, one can take a taxi or a bus to Kainchi Dham. You can also start from Delhi.

Day 1- Delhi to Nainital

The Driver will pick you up from Delhi from Airport or Railway Station and proceed to Nainital, which is roughly 300 kilometers away. Upon arrival in Nainital, complete the check-in process at your preboooked hotel. Later in afternoon visit Nainia Devi Temple, Mall ROad and Naini Lake Naini Lake, soaking in the picturesque surroundings. In Night return to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 2 : Neem Karoli Baba- Kainchi Dham & Bhimtal
Meal Plan- Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast, Checkout from Nainital Hotel and go to Khainchi Dham, which is about 20 kilometers from Nainital. Khainchi Dham is a special place dedicated to Baba Neem Karoli, a respected saint who stayed there for a long time. Spend the day checking out the temple area and meditating in the peaceful surroundings. In afternoon Visit Bhimtal Lake, Naukuchital Sightseeing and Dinner & stay overnight Hotel at Bhimtal.
Day 3: Bhimtal to Delhi to Mumbai

After breakfast, checkout from Bhimtal Hotel and later proceed to Delhi. Your Short weekend gateway package to Nainital & Bhimtal comes to an end. Catch your train/flight for onward Journey.

Also, In mid-June, there’s a 2-day celebration at the Kainchi Dham ashram. During this time, a large event called ‘Bhandara’ takes place. (A Bhandara is a large-scale community feast or charitable event where food, often sponsored or donated, is distributed to a large number of people as prasad)
6. Any dress code or rules for visiting Khainchi Dham?
There is no Dress code, but wear the modest clothes and do cover your head. Also, Visitors are expected to maintain the sanctity of the temple premises and refrain from loud noises and disruptive behavior. Photography inside the temple is not allowed.
