Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna river and the first Dham on the usual route. A trek of around 6 km from Janki Chatti leads to the temple, with pony and palki options.
Gangotri is where the Ganga is worshipped as the Bhagirathi, and it is the second Dham on the route. The Gaumukh glacier trek is a separate, longer trek for fit guests.

Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and the most demanding Dham, reached by a trek from Gaurikund or by helicopter.
Badrinath is the fourth Dham, on the Alaknanda river, and is reached by road. Mana village is a short drive away.

Helicopter options help guests with limited time or limited mobility reach the Dhams. Seats are limited and flights depend on weather, so book as early as possible.

Haridwar and Rishikesh are the usual starting points of the Chardham Yatra, and a good place to spend a night before the mountain roads.
